Level 3 Unit 3 Lesson10: Something Irresistible
Prefixes and suffixes are letters that we add to the beginning or end of another word (root word).
We add prefixes to the beginning of an existing word to create a new word with a different meaning.
We add suffixes to the end of an existing word. Suffixes often change a word from one word class to another; for example, a verb can become an adjective, a noun can become an adjective, or a verb can become a noun.
